This position is responsible for providing professional technical services to Wily Technology customers across the range of Wily products, through the software lifecycle, providing optimized J2EE and Java application monitoring, performance management, problem resolution, and mentoring. Key responsibilities include consulting with customer to determine and understand requirements of the Wily product deployment, and providing technical expertise for Wily product installation and configuration, application monitoring, performance management, problem diagnosis, root cause analysis, and resolution. Also coding and/or scripting to Wily product APIs and interfaces as necessary to meet the customer's needs, identifying technical issues and support issues resolution and/or escalation during Wily product deployments, and serving as the product expert for Wily products during customer deployments. The Consulting Architect provides technical continuity during the customer engagement, focusing on customer success, identifies additional opportunities after Wily Technology Professional Services led deployments, and provides knowledge transfer and mentoring to customers on the use of Wily products. This position helps establish and maintain the repertoire of Wily tuning and problem determination techniques, and collaborates with other Wily Technology Professional Services APM Architects to ensure that Wily efforts are coordinated. Business travel of approximately 75 percent yearly is expected for this position. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with typically a minimum of 2 years experience with at least one application server and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in large scale J2EE/Java production environments.
