Content Systems Analyst

 

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment to integrate the work of writers, designers and administrators into online marketing content for the EDMC school web sites.  The selected candidate will provide technical support for the production of web marketing content using a web content management system (CMS). The candidate will also assist in quality assurance testing of the CMS, sites, images and links.

 

Key Job Elements 

 

• Produce and maintain content for EDMC school web sites using Interwoven TeamSite (training provided).

 

• Train new CMS users as well as provide troubleshooting and support existing user base.

 

• Work with the design team and adjust CMS templates to accommodate design changes.

 

• Manage order and usability of digital assets in the central asset repository (MediaBin).

 

• Update content through the use of CMS or with direct html updates.

 

• Ensure updates are made in a timely manner and that the content on all sites is accurate, current and complete.

 

• Input copy edits for the sites and coordinate reviews of copy by Advertising and Marketing Services and the Business Practices Committee (BPC).

 

• Coordinate multiple projects while producing high quality work under tight deadlines.

 

• Monitor CMS performance and usage to identify areas that need improvement.

 

• Seek and track content approval from multiple sources.

 

Requirements

BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science, Multimedia or Communications field preferred.

OR

Minimum 4 years experience in a web marketing production role

Ability to hand code HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Experience with various web editors, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop,

Understanding of how content managers and administrative tools operate with web site maintenance

 

Experience with Interwoven TeamSite and .NET a plus
