Description:
Western Allied Corporation, an industry leader, has been designing, constructing, retrofitting, and maintaining HVAC (heating, ventilating, air conditioning) systems throughout California for more than four decades.

The primary focus of this position includes programming HVAC controls/equipment and developing internal and client web applications. You will also assist in basic office duties listed below.
Development
• Development of a job tracking system (PHP, MySQL).
• Develop web applications used to test and configure HVAC equipment (HTML, AJAX, SOAP).
• Program and test HVAC equipment/controllers.
• Commission, test, and configure HVAC equipment/controllers.
• Create graphics of equipment and floor plans.
Basic office work:
• Assist in maintaining task list and schedules
• IT assistance: Basic hardware and software troubleshooting
• PC maintenance including installing hardware and software, backup and restore
• Create documentation for existing procedures
Qualifications
• Strong communication skills – oral and written
• Basic understanding of object oriented programming
• Experience with hardware and software configuration on Windows 98, 2000, and XP
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Visio and Outlook
• Knowledge, configuration, setup, and troubleshooting of basic IP network
• Prior experience with development tools such as Dreamweaver and Eclipse
• Prior experience with programming languages: PHP, HTML, SQL, JavaScript (AJAX & Prototype desired)
• Prior experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Macromedia Flash are a plus
