Aspect is currently seeking a Corporate Counsel in our Chelmsford, MA location.

 

Large and growing global software company, headquartered in Chelmsford, MA seeks to hire a Corporate Counsel responsible for review, drafting, negotiation, and interpreting of a broad range of contracts related to technology partnerships licensing and distribution of third party software, and licensing of software to customers with delivery of related services.

Work closely with various operational departments, including Sales, Finance, Marketing, Office of Technology, and Support

Work on negotiation and drafting of appropriate terms and conditions consistent with company policy

Provide timely and thorough communication to cross-functional teams

Training operational functions in contractual provisions, issues, approaches and company practices

Preparation of non-standard contracts as needed.

 

J.D. with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible and extensive experience negotiating and drafting software licenses for internal purposes and distribution, as well as end user customer agreements on behalf of software vendor(s).

Experience with channel reseller/distributors and international licensing a plus.
