Corporate Marketing Specialist (Grade 14)

As part of the marketing and communications team, the corporate marketing specialist supports the community events and awareness activities of the corporate marketing and media relations team as well as other corporate marketing team efforts The corporate marketing and media team efforts include: public relations, executive communications support, human resources support, internal communications, internal and external Web site maintenance and updates, and community relations support. Requirements

Identify community activities and events that provide awareness and goodwill opportunities for Network Health that are compatible with the organization's growth objectives for particular geographic areas or among various populations. Prepare for, set up materials and displays on actual dates, and attend community events such as street fairs, trade shows and health center events that provide awareness and goodwill opportunities for Network Health. Represent Network Health in the best possible fashion at community events through professional behavior, personal appearance, Network Health expertise, and advance preparation for the event. While staffing and planning events, obtain competitive intelligence, including sample competitor materials, wherever possible and share with appropriate internal teams.Support the corporate marketing team with event-related advertisements, working closely with creative services and editorial. Must be able to effectively draft copy. Coordinate with member acquisition or other marketing teams to obtain or produce appropriate quantities of pertinent literature for events and ensure they are coded properly for lead source tracking.Assist with other activities of the corporate marketing and media relations team including scheduling photographers to attend events, obtaining post-event media coverage, clip tracking, and yearly marketing award entries.Maintain detailed tracking reports of event participation and focusing on goal-setting and event success. Assist with budget maintenance and vendor management as needed.Help coordinate the production of giveaways for members, prospective members, providers, staff, and/or candidates. Assist with inventory management.Identify membership growth opportunities and when the chance arises, assist prospective members with enrollment and renewal forms. As needed, assist community relations and field teams when capacity permits.Support corporate marketing and media relations team members with activities pertaining to the Company Assembly.Maintain calendar of events on internal and external Web sites.Assist with development of messaging for corporate, member, provider, employee, and other audiences and draft copy. Bachelor's degree required or 2 to 3 years equivalent experience working in a marketing, public relations, community relations, or communications field.Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills Organizational, time-management skills, customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain poised and composed while under pressure required. Must be detail-oriented and able to deliver on time-sensitive requests Must be able to engage effectively with the public and work collaboratively with marketing and communication team members as well as other Network Health employees and external vendors, and press. Must be able to independently, energetically, and professionally represent Network Health at public venues. Ideal candidate is a 'go getter' who enjoys approaching people and helping them understand their health insurance options. Health care/health insurance experience is a plus, as is prior events and/or community outreach experience. How to apply
