UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to join our Albany, NY team.  The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree (Associates Degree with relevant experience will also be considered) with a strong IT recruitment background and working knowledge of human resources functions.  Must have exceptional organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify, attract and source qualified candidates.Initiates contact and handles thorough pre-qualification with potentially qualified candidates for specific job openings.Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in organization.Writes and places job advertising in various media.Utilizes recruiting sources, including job boards, the Internet, newspapers, referrals, etc., to identify and recruit candidates.Performs reference and background checks on applicants.
