Costpoint Labor Analyst

SAIC seeks a Costpoint Labor Analyst for our corporate time reporting organization. The Costpoint Labor Analyst will report to the Costpoint/Time and Expense Lead and will support the Costpoint Labor and Leave modules including daily system processing, issue resolution, SOX compliance and audit support. The ideal candidate will be motivated and eager to learn. Responsibilities: •Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee labor and leave transactions •Research and resolve employee master data, labor and leave issues raised •Provide professional customer service to both corporate and line resources •Adhere to time reporting, accounting, financial reporting policies and procedures •Ensure compliance according SAIC policies and procedures to achieve department objectives •Ensure that labor accounting desk procedures are updated and in line with internal control requirements •Complete special projects, as assigned Required Skills: •Minimum of two years labor accounting experience •Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Access, Excel, and Word applications •Able to meet deadlines, shift priorities, and work under pressure •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented •Excellent problem solving skills •Ability to work independently or in a team environment Desired Skills: •Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information •Experience with using Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense applications or other labor accounting and time reporting systems Education: •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required with 9+ years of experience   “SAIC offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
