This is an amazing opportunity for an organized, process focused individual to get in on the ground floor and drive some great projects within the client's .com Retail site. We are looking for strong leaders to help keep projects on schedule, well communicated and successful.Responsibilities: - Drive project management methodologies within the retail team - Own and manage key high-level projects within the Retail organization from concept, through launch, and into post-mortem - Work with a multitude of personalities with professionalism and great communication (including: designers, copywriters, editors, technical producers, developers, business sponsors, etc.) - Be the go to person for all things within a given project and be the point of delegation for multiple teams - Manage scope creep, project communication and changing requirements on a day-to-day basis - Be an advocate for project management best practices throughout the client's retail organization - Review project deliverables and provide feedback on improvement opportunities. - Initiate and plan new projects, monitor project progress, suggest corrective actions, aid in issue resolution and risk mitigationExperience and Educational Requirements: - At least five years relevant experience. - Experience in a professional technology organization - High degree of competency within all phases of project management including: issue and risk identification and management, change management, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communication of overall project status. - Working knowledge of e-commerce websites, software design experience a plus - Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization - Demonstrated analysis and innovative problem solving skills - Experience with successfully implementing large change initiatives within an organization. - Working knowledge of web technologies a plus (HTML/CSS, XML, ASP, etc.)Special Skills and Interests: - Enthusiasm and interest in project management - Constantly alert to opportunities for process improvement - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong presentation and persuasion skillsManager Top 3 Priorities:1. Excellent at managing complex projects in a fast paced envronment.2. Strength in change management and communication around change.3. Experience in online retail strongly preferred.
