DATA ANALYSIS SUPERVISOR

The New York County District Attorney's Office has an opening for a Data Analysis Supervisor in its IT Department.  The Toll Analysis Unit enters and provides analyses of telephone data received from telephone carriers through subpoenas for District Attorney Cases in Manhattan. Pen Link (software package) is used to data entry, import and analyze the data obtained either electronically or on paper from the carrier.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Key in data from subpoenaed telephone records, subscriber input documents, spreadsheets & downloads.
• Primarily responsible for the quality of all data being entered into the Database and regularly monitors the database to detect potential problems, discrepancies, duplicates, incomplete data, and other types of quality issues.
• Perform and assign work to the data entry staff to enter, update, correct and remedy any quality control issues.
• Knowledge of Telephone Toll Analysis and Pen Link a plus but not required
• Understand telephony concepts such as dial plans, call routing, inbound call handling, call detail reporting and billing documents
• Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities.
• Supervising Data entry staff;
• Reporting regularly to management on work performed, adherence to procedures and irregularities in the Unit. Following up with work requests and problem solving.

QUALIFCATIONS:
• Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree; a minimum of 3 years of data entry experience; and minimum of 2 - 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Preferred experience in legal or services industry. We require strong writing skills and good oral communication skills.  Along with excellent organizational, and customer service and problem-solving skills
• Must possess outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills.
