DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Position: Director of Information Systems

Grade Level:  12-Exempt

 

Reports To: Executive VP

Direct Reports: Systems Analyst, POS Coordinator

 

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience/training; 5 years minimum IS experience required. Must have experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.  Must have strong analytical, strategic planning and communication skills.  Call Center, and E-Commerce, experience preferred.

 

Scope:  Establish technology strategy and direction for the company. Develop and maintain information systems for Store Support Center, Stores, and Call Center. Provide Project Management on all technology initiatives. Coordinate system integration, technology migration and enterprise process improvement.

 

Duties:

 

  Primary:

 

1.  Directs IS operations including computer operations, server integration, systems analysis and programming.

2.  Provides accurate, timely and effective management reporting

3.  Provides LAN Desktop support

4.  Network administration

5.  Data-base management

6.  Oversees telecommunications, call routing, firewall and switching strategy   

7.  Coordinates E-Commerce and web technology strategy

8.  Ensures sufficient systems capacity for all technology needs

9.  Maintain security of critical information through appropriate back up procedures, system redundancy, and disaster recovery processes

 

  Secondary:

 

1.  Provide capital expenditure ROI analysis on new technology investments

2.  Provides technical support for all Corporate Stores, Store Support Center and Call Center systems

3.  Oversee and coordinate POS Training

4.  Perform all other duties as assigned

 

Physical and other Requirements:  Able to lift 50 lbs. and sit for extended periods of time.  Fine manipulation, visual acuity required.  Moderate travel required.
