Dashboard Designer/Architect
Position available in Baton Rouge LA for a Dashboard Designer/Architect.Job Description:Development and support of a functioning data dashboard. Based upon a complete analysis, review, and approval of the User Requirements Document, produce a Technical Design Document (TDD) and other related documentation in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) industry standards. Analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting of application program modules and processes and development of new program modules as well as changes to existing modules in a batch and/or on-line environment.Communicate with Application Project Leaders and Managers, Program/User staff, and the Dashboard Workgroup when necessary in order to understand requirements and priorities.Generate system documentation and train existing IT staff in areas of enhanced and new development. Support the User Acceptance Testing process by correcting any identified errors or discrepancies.Develop, document and deliver unit and system tested program(s) that perform(s) program functions according to specifications in the Technical Design Document(s) based upon the requirements in the User Requirement Documents. Develop, document and deliver unit and system tested program(s). Support the User Acceptance Testing process by correcting any identified errors or discrepancies.Train staff in the development and maintenance of new and enhanced applications.Submit Weekly Progress Reports with details demonstrating what was accomplished. Provide Technical Architectural Design Documentation.Provide System and Training documentation.Delivery of accurate data sets that comprise the Dashboard as described as well as include successful migration to the IS environment and move to production. Subsequent system enhancements, as identified by the user community, following the initial deployment of the Dashboard application. Required Skills: Minimum of 1 year experience working with IBI WebFOCUS Release 7.13 or higher that includes Self-Service Applications, Web Publishing, Visual Discovery (VISDIS), ETL Manager iWay Data Migrator 7.11 or higher, creating ETL programs to create/monitor/manage daily data loads and extracts, etc. Minimum of 1 year GIS experience working with ESRI ARCGIS, ARCIMS, ARCVIEW, ARCSDE, and ARCMAP; using ESRI ArcIMS 9.1 or higher to create, publish and monitor Map Services, experience generating GIS maps and Buffer zones maps from external data, etc. Minimum of 1 year of experience with Metastorm eWork-SWIFT third party eWork add-on, Metastorm BPM, Release 6.6 or higher, creating e-Work applications, integrating Single sign-on Module for Novell using ework authentication, and integrating WebFOCUS reporting to e-Work applications. Minimum 2 years relational database administration experience with MS SQL Server 2000 or higher; MS Access or DB2, working with iWay Geoload Adapter web console 5.5 or higher to manage daily/weekly geocoding jobs on RDBMS and SDE; backup and recovery; bulk record deletes and inserts, design of build measures, performance measures, key risk indicators, and signatures of fraud, design of file formats and staging tables, creating SQL views, etc Minimum 2 years experience in data warehousing, extracting and managing data using ETL Manager and iWay Data Migrator 7.16 or higher; working with iWay Adapter Designer 5.5 or higher; creating programs to create, compile and debug Geoload Process, design of build measures, dimensions and facts using data in the data warehouse Minimum of 2 years BI related project experience that includes full project life cycle of BI dashboards, including Key Risk Indicators, Measures, Facts, and Dimensions, Signatures of Fraud, Visual Analytics including WebFOCUS graphs and charts, and Key Risk Indicators Experience developing and deploying e-work/SQL/WebFocus/GIS applications, writing PMO weekly status reports, meeting weekly project reporting requirements, tracking and reporting on all assigned tasks.Proven skills sets in MS Office software products including project management, VISIO, Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Access database, and Outlook email.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
