Ticketmaster is headquartered in West Hollywood, California.Role: Ticketmaster is looking for an Industry Professional that has large scale (50,000sqft. raised floor) Data Center Operations and People Management experience (Local/Remote). This position will be responsible for all aspects of Data Center Operations to include but not limited to our core systems for all production, testing, and development systems. In addition, all network systems, and other support areas not listed. Successful Candidate should be adaptable in using their organizational skills to prioritize tasks and opportunistic in taking ownership of various projects. Responsibilities: The Data Center Manager will be charged with the following responsibilities to include, but not limited to: *Day to Day Data Center Operations and Long Term Strategy*Project Management*Colo Management*Management of Vendors & Contractors*Capacity Planning*Financial Tracking*Sox/PCI Compliance*Logistics, Transportation, and Asset Management*Creating & Management of Documentation, Reporting, and Metrics.*Data Center Builds*Provides direction to staff, establishes work priorities and evaluates proposed solutions.*Management of Ticket Queue*Assist in planning and general maintenance of systems in co-location facility*Physical Layer, Rack servers, network equipment, miscellaneous equipment*Configure and install servers*Responding to emergencies in the Data Center.*Enforcing, Managing, Creating, Policy, Procedures, & Security.*Set schedule and resolve staff scheduling issues*Management of Standards such as ITIL, BICSI, OSHA, TIA/EIA, ISO, etc *Assess and report power, space, and cooling usage on a regular basis*Prioritize, coordinate, and deliver special technology projects.*Training*Perform On-call support as needed*Occasional travel 25%*Other duties as needed Qualifications: * BS/BA degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent training, education and on the job experience.* 5+ years of data center technical experience.* 3+ years of data center work experience in a management role.* Understanding of server hardware – Sun, Intel, Network Appliance, and Cisco.* Cabling experience, including fiber, coax, copper runs.* Demonstrated project management and problem analysis/resolution skills.* Must be able to go up and down a ladder, lift medium to heavy objects (50lbs), bend and stoop over a lengthy period of time, distinguish colors, and have hand dexterity.*Candidate must be driven, self-motivated, and a strong team player*Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to new solutions / programs / ideas! Preferred Experience: * Data Center Operations* Electrical/Mechanical Calculations* Understanding of IEEE specifications for systems and network cabling* Familiar with Power requirements for data center hardware* Familiar with HVAC requirements for a data center facility* Experience with Solaris, Linux, and Windows operating systems* Experience with Networking Hardware such as Cisco, Foundry, other* Experience with developing and meeting Service Level Agreement requirements Competitive compensation and benefits package offered.
