Data Conversion Analyst

We are a small but growing company looking for technical consultants with 3+ years of development experience.  Having experience in the Energy industry specifically around production accounting and regulatory reporting is desirable but not required.

 

Responsibilities:

· Create and maintain functional and technical conversion design documentation.

· Create and maintain mapping documents between legacy system(s) and new source system(s).

· Develop and maintain data conversion upload templates and programs.

· Develop and maintain any mapping executables to convert data from legacy system to upload templates.

· Design and execute data cleansing based on client designated data standards using the DataVera tools.

 

Skills:

· Technical:

o  Ability to create data conversion templates in an Oracle environment.

o  Ability to code transformation routines and Oracle database import routines.

o  3+ years hands on experience using SQL Server and Oracle.

o  3 + years of development experience with SQL, PL/SQL Packages, Procedures and Functions.

o  Experience with Oracle DBMS:  Oracle 10g, 9i.

· Soft Skills:

o  Excellent oral and written communication skills.

o  Ability to work well as part of a team.

o  Ability to execute tasks on a timely basis with minimal supervision and to provide timely / accurate status to leadership teams.

o  Experience with project-oriented environments and thorough understanding of typical project delivery methodologies.

o  Exceptional critical reasoning skills around systems, processes and business analysis.

o  Ability to resolve complex issues.
