Database Administrator (Oracle/SqlServer 2005)  PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  This position will plan, develop, deploy and implement Oracle and SQL Server database architectures, environment standards, and change control policies and procedures. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  The DBA is responsible for all database functions including installations, migrations, monitoring, developing scripts, backup & recovery, tuning, after hours support, resolving complex customer related problems and issues in a timely manner. SKILLS REQUIRED: •BS degree in computer science, IT, engineering or equivalent experience•5-10 years of Oracle DBA experience •Oil and Gas industry experience.•Knowledge Upstream and down business processes•Extensive experience in providing production day-to-day support for Oracle systems.•Develop, recommend, Implement, and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity databases and systems•Capacity planning, availability and disaster recovery planning•Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle environments•Excellent written and oral communication skills.•Guide in the definition of database standards, controls and documentation•Ability to work as part of a team•SQL (T-SQL PL/SQL) experience•Document & improve existing processes DESIRED SKILLS: •Detail oriented, Strong analytical, planning and reasoning abilities•Knowledge of SQL Server 2005 a plus•Knowledge of OEM/RAC•Ability to present technical information to all organizational levels•Knowledge of SDE a plus   Business Attire Business Casual   Skills  Oracle DBA Verbal Communication Skills Written Communication Skills SQL PL/SQL     To view additional job opportunities with TAC Worldwide Companies, please visit us at www.tacworldwide.com
