Supports departmental management and staff.2. Receives, reads, records, sorts, distributes, and classifies memos, correspondence, and documents.3. Establishes and/or maintains specialized departmental records; searches records and files for readily identified information; checks and compares reports or records for compliance with specific requirements.4. Researches, compiles, and prepares data for standard and special reports.5. Operate computer terminals, calculator, typewriter, copy machine, and other officeequipment.6. Orders and maintains departmental office supply inventory.7. May schedule and plan meetings, conferences, and traveling arrangements.8. May initiate and/or reply to routine correspondence.9. May screen telephone calls, supplies information to callers and records messages.10. May prepare and monitor departmental budgets and controls.11. Responsible for participating in a Continuous Improvement Process Plan.12. Adherence to company policies and procedures.13. Adherence to applicable fair credit reporting & other related applicable laws & regulations.Accounting1. Assists in preparing accounting reports for external entities.2. Coordinates opening and closing bank accounts with Computer Sciences Corporation contact. Coordinates obtaining appropriate signature authorization. Coordinates check ordering and verification with appropriate banks.3. Assists in preparing special reports for management.4. Coordinates issuing, canceling, and monitoring of corporate preferred credit cards for the entire organization.5. Coordinates issuing of Delegation of Authority forms as needed.6. Audits manual check signing registerNonessential1. Performs other administrative tasks as may be assigned by immediate management in support of special project activities.2. Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES1. Work requires a high school level of knowledge of several subjects in order to prepare reports, perform calculations, keep records, and/or deal effectively with other people.2. At least two years clerical experience and personal computer working experience.3. Proficiency in MS Office 97, Windows 95, Lotus notes.4. Problems are somewhat complex and require a systematic, organized approach in order to resolve.5. Typing skills of at least 40 wpm with 90% accuracy preferred; 10-key calculator skillspreferred.6.
