Candidates should be problem solvers whothrive onfinding smart and creative solutions to serve the needs of the user community.TheAnalyst will be responsible for writing design documents for continued development of the application and working on interface design documents with governmental and partner organizations.Analysts must be able to demonstratethe workings,feel, and navigation of the system to theuser community andcreate designs to meet their needs, by conducting demos, reviews and prototyping. COMPETENCIES/SKILLSQualified candidates aresenior leveldesigners with 10+ years of experience performing systems analysis and application design. The designer possess technical knowledge of all phases of applications development. Camdidates must also have experience designing databases and preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of SQL. Candidates must be able to work well with others, be a team player. Excellent communication and writing, analytical and problem solving skills as well as professional personal attitude and ability to meet deadlines are a must.The ideal designer candidate is also an experienced Domain modeler, Object modeler, Software Architect, or Component designer. Familiarity withUML 2.0 and Frameworks is a plus. Web development and coding experience are desired, as are a good understanding of Microsoft's OS and .NET design and architecture, security model (AD). RESPONSIBILITIES Develop detailed designs based on project requirements and high-level designs in accordance with the project design process and application standards. Define interface specifications and write Interface Description Documents (IDDs) in accordance with project standards. Performs analysis of new requirements requested by the Client. Analyze user & system requirements and change requests. Supports documentation, programming, and testing efforts. Conducts meetings with User Groups, and the software development team to review designs. Assists in resolving conflicting requirements, making refinements, and solving problems. Meets deadlines and ensures products match customer requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, computer science or related field preferred Six or more years of product design and support experience Six or more years of experience working withsystems and requirements analysis, software development life cycle, and development methodologies and implementation Experience working with product systems design principles Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software Experience working with company application development policies and procedures Experience working with company software and hardware products and related business issues that may impact overall business plans Other Qualifications Strong analytical, problem solving, creative thinking and design skills at multiple product Strong communication skills to communicate with application developers, customers, support personnel and management Good mentoring and training skills to guide and direct work of less experienced specialists Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly Ability to work independently and as part of a team ~ Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:Confidential Create Success
