Director, Corporate Relations

Join a global leader in the healthcare information technology community.  Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has an excellent job opportunity for a Director, Corporate Relations.

The major function of this executive-level position is to design, implement and manage strategies to attract and retain corporate members to HIMSS. Establish strong and deep relationships with Corporate Member executives/management teams, and ensure that Corporate Members realize the strategic value of the benefits afforded to them through their HIMSS membership through participation in HIMSS initiatives as well as market exposure opportunities.

Requirements: Bachelors or Masters Degree and sales training. Must have a minimum of seven (7) years experience in the HIT industry. Senior level account management experience. Related experience in sales and customer relationship management. Existing network and relationships with HIT organizations and executive.  Strong decision-making, problem solving, creativity, and negotiating skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and the ability to build trust and confidence with executive level staff. Good organizational, time management and project management skills. Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and execute new programs targeting executive-level customers.  Proficient in PC-based applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Good written and verbal communications skills.
