Today, CA, formerly known as Computer Associates, serves the majority of the Fortune 1000 companies, as well as government organizations, educational institutions and thousands of other companies in diverse industries worldwide.We are currently looking for a qualified Director - Field Marketing to join our Field Marketing team at our office in Framingham, MA or at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.Key Responsibilities:* Implement large scale marketing communication programs and processes for demand creation. * Direct the development and effective execution of program/projects/initiatives that meet marketing and business goals. * Proactively work with cross-functional/cross-organizational teams in order to define and develop those marketing initiatives and objectives. * Implement innovative processes and creative solutions for better business practice. * Measure, analyze and report on efficiencies, effectiveness and ROI. * Stay current with industry trends and standards. * Responsible for managing budgets and cost-saving measures; Monitor ongoing business and deliver on business results through budget management. * Develop and propose concepts and content for international programs. * Ability to understand the marketing process for demand generation from managing inbound inquiries from numerous sources to developing qualified leads, capturing and recording key qualification and segmentation data about target audience. * Develop and manage a contact data base. * Manage outside vendors for marketing services including establishing service levels, developing statement of work, managing projects to on time delivery. * Develop marketing procedures that insure the integration of internal and external data and systems to support demand creation process. * Manage quarterly marketing budgets in formal financial systems, SAP experience a plus.Key Requirements:* 7 or more years of Marketing experience in technology and/or relevant B2B industry. * Business capabilities to build excellent working relationships with a cross-organizational group of players including; Regional Field Marketing Directors, Field Sales, Channel Sales, Corporate marketing, Business Unit (Product Marketing), and the global campaign marketing team. * Strong ability to communicate externally and internally through CA channels. * In touch with market needs and able to analyze program successes across regional markets. * Strong understanding of program opportunities and appropriateness for different markets. * Strong business understanding with an emphasis on being sales oriented and resourceful in supporting sales. * Demonstrated experience in capturing and providing analysis on marketing data. * Experience coordinating and optimizing the use of content hosting services, email marketing, direct mail, live events and Teleprospecting. * Process-oriented person focused upon achieving cost efficiencies and optimal productivity. * Business travel of a minimum of 35%. * Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent is preferred.
