Director, IT and Business Strategy

Our client is looking for a strategic player in their Information Technology department.  This position will provide leadership and execution to the IT technology vision and portfolio as well as provide overall leadership for technological communication to the Business.  This position will also lead the development and execution of the IT "front door" including project prioritization and ensuring a close linkage between business drivers and IT's architectural/strategic roadmaps.

 

Manage a team of 2-3 and will report to the Sr. Director.

 

 

 

Requirements:

Proven track record with business, application, data, and technology development and implementation. 


Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and the flexibility to deal with people at a variety of levels internally and externally. 

 

Experience working directly with the business units

 

Experience managing, motivating, and mentoring managers and senior technical professionals. 


Experience prioritizing and handling multiple demands, initiatives, problems, and opportunities. 

Demonstrated ability to manage detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments. 


Demonstrated ability to size, scope and prioritize business requirements and opportunities; sound business judgment and financial acumen; ability to identify process improvements and lead and/or develop and present a business case.
