This position is responsible for leading the design, planning, and implementation of product training programs for the sales, sales enablement and partners. This also comprises managing the development and delivery of all programs relating to product knowledge including, but not limited to, boot camps, new hire, road shows, webinars, and e-learning modules. These programs contain complex activities that may span functions, organizations, geographic regions and cultures. Additional responsibilities include:* Working with Sales and Channel Management and business units to determine product training needs for each role with sales, sales enablement and the partner community * Prioritizing training deliverables and managing the creation content for programs and courseware * Working with instructional design/curriculum development team to create interactive courseware and any other associated materials, i.e. quick reference guides * Creating tests that accurately measure achievement and managing other team members involved in course creation and program management * Building credibility, establishing rapport, and maintaining communication with stakeholders at multiple levels * Pro-actively seeking input from all CA stakeholders including Technical Readiness and Product Marketing to ensure that curriculum plans and learning paths support CA software, sales, and presales initiatives * Ensuring product training programs are developed and managed using basic tenants of project management and scoping the resources needed for training projects and programs * Coordinating the sharing of resources among constituent projects to the overall benefit of the program * Assigning Program Managers to manage cost, schedule, and performance of component projects * Ensuring deliverable of weekly status reports for each program during development and after launch * Ensuring product programs are aligned with all sales readiness programs as they relate to sales skills, tools and methods * Creating and publishing business plans for a training strategy to support WW Sales Readiness goals * Developing and maintaining open lines of communication with the sales team to assess the needs of the organization * Building relationships in the field, providing access to valuable information and receiving feedback and assistance on programs and initiatives Position Requirements: * Typically requires a minimum of 7-10 years of work experience * Management level experience in IT and/or training organization(s) * Proven experience in corporate training and development with a strong understanding of adult education theory, Sales a plus * Outstanding leadership, people and management skills * Excellent communications skills in the areas of presentation, writing, speaking and facilitation * Strong business acumen including understanding of macro business and IT trends and drivers * Proven ability to create strong customer relationships, including strong network of people inside CA or other companies * Thrives under pressure, adapts rapidly to change and has the ability to project manage and prioritize work and issues * Business travel of approximately 70% yearly * Bachelor's Degree in Education, Marketing, Computer Science or a business discipline * MA in Education or an MBA is preferred It's an exciting time at CA.
