Director of Technology

The Director of Technology is primarily concerned with developing a positive working relationship between the client and Questeq and with the implementation, operation, monitoring, and evaluation of technology services for the client. This individual provides leadership in managing client network maintenance processes and in identifying hardware and software purchases, ensuring that they are consistent with the school system instructional technology plan and state technology guidelines. The employee works collaboratively with members of the client’s staff to use technology and include technology applications as an integral part of the total instructional program.

PARTIAL PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAct as the primary Questeq customer interface at assigned sites. Oversee and execute the onsite day to day technical support and network operations. Build and maintain an excellent relationship between the client and Questeq. Improve network, desktop hardware and software processes and support critical business strategies. Manage and track call ticket queue, ticket documentation, time to close metrics, etc. Lead multiple projects and oversee technical staff to ensure that client specifications are met. Compile project status reports, coordinate project schedules, manage project meetings, identify and resolve technical problems. Identify and analyze systems requirements and define project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Analyze and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies and communicate those solutions to Senior Management. Coach and provide career development advice to staff.


REQUIREMENTS:

1+ years experience working in technology for educational instutions and/or businesses Able to pass Criminal Backgound, Child Abuse History, and Fingerprinting clearances Associates degree or higher in technology related field
