Business Growth and Development - As one of our Division Directors, you will have sole responsibility for growth within your division. You are the “tip of the spear” for revenue generation. In this capacity, you will establish new and deeper business relationships, perform discovery, architect solutions, develop value propositions based upon customer technical and business requirements, and lead and support proposal development activities.
We anticipate that you will close one to two multi-year opportunities during your first year, with each opportunity engaging 15 to 30 people. We will support you with talented Project Managers and colleagues, extensive training, mature processes, and a strong infrastructure. We have a proposal team that will support your proposal development activities.
Delivery of Projects – This role goes beyond capture management. We expect you to keep your promises and honor your deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the life-cycle of a project. You will typically work on three deals at any one time; you’ll hand over the day to day responsibility to your Project Managers and will already be looking for the next opportunity.
Staff Development - Provide clear direction by fully defining expectations and requirements. Address staff needs and create an open and collaborative culture. Confidently engage in performance management, including setting divisional goals and recognizing achievement. Identify and resolve potential issues resulting in increased employee engagement and retention. You will play a leading role in the organizational development by identifying and providing professional growth and development opportunities for your staff. You will increase the level of service and prepare staff for meeting customer challenges and provide them with the opportunity for professional growth. You will ensure your staff has the requisite tools and resources to accomplish their duties without your day-to-day involvement.
Financial Management – You will work with your Program and Project Managers to ensure revenue and profit contributions are in line with business plans and budgets; cost management; risk analysis; proposal pricing support; and overhead management. Your Program and Project Managers will have day to day delivery responsibility and will be responsible for their delivery team. At Citizant, values trump profit, but our disciplined stewardship of finances has led to 32 successive quarters of profit.

Qualifications of the Director of Technology Solutions
• Proven business development skills.
• Capture management experience with winning results.
• 8-12 years delivery experience in a professional services organization delivering technical solutions within the federal government market.
• Strategic and tactical planning skills.
• Experience on proposal development processes and teams.
• Sound knowledge of Program and Project Management principles.
• Experience with creating and managing annual budgets.
• General knowledge of the FAR, DCAA and federal contracting.
• Knowledge of EVM, ISO and CMMI.
