Job Overview The International Customer Support (ICS) Specialist at MySpace is responsible for handling inquiries from international MySpace users, communicating the response/resolution in Korean. In addition, the ICS Specialists service as the subject matter experts within the Customer Support department and will be responsible for handling routine user inquiries to complex issues that may require communication with law enforcement. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent reading and writing skills.



Responsibilities:
• Works efficiently in order to meet daily goals and service levels
• Learns and maintains a thorough working knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
• Works independently to resolve user inquiries
• Accurately and efficiently assesses and evaluates user inquiries/requests
• Displays strong analytical skill necessary to determine best resolution for the user; minimizing the need for further contact from the user
• Escalates issues to higher levels of support using appropriate channels
• Responds professionally when being exposed to explicit or graphic material.
• Must be a team player who values collaboration and support
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Gather and report team metrics as needed
• Participate in special projects as assigned
• Exemplary professionalism and courtesy to internal and external customers
• Must have good understanding of the Internet and social networking


Requirements

• Passes all standardized agency testing
• Must pass background check
• Intermediate level of computer literacy
• Cursory knowledge of website navigation
• Must work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week
• Types a minimum of 35wpm
• Excellent reading comprehension, language proficiency and written communication skills in Korean.
• Ability to work in a dynamic work environment
• Exercises sound judgment to ensure user satisfaction
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Previous experience with non-verbal customer service channels (e-mail, text chat, etc) and e-mail applications desired
