Documentum System Administrator
Documentum System Administrator needed to provide application and infrastructure support for a long-term contract in Hartford.
This is a highly skilled position requiring Documentum, UNIX and Oracle skills. The position is responsible for providing Documentum administration and Oracle application DBA services to Documentum infrastructure environment.
Successful incumbents will be responsible for:
• The Documentum System Administrator (DSA) is responsible for planning, setting up, and maintaining the infrastructure for the Documentum-based Enterprise Content Management System.
• Provide system administration support including server and client software installations, systems and database monitoring, migration, and associated documentation required to optimize the performance of this system.
• Monitor and provide performance tuning to system software components as required to ensure optimum system function
• Maintain system landscape environment by providing DOCBASE creation, migration, copies and refreshes
• Provide support and maintenance to any Docbrokers, App Servers, Doclinks Webmasters and Doclinks.
• Perform Documentum software upgrades, patches, and migrations
• Provide Job setup, scheduling and log file cleanup
• Work with the functional/process Analyst and Programmers to plan and implement technical specifications for conversion, interfaces, enhancements, reports, & add-ons
• Provide user maintenance internal to DMS as well as at the UNIX level
• Provide Oracle Application Database Administration as it applies to DMS
• Plan and implement backup & recovery; disaster recovery, as well as archiving strategies as they relate to DMS
