POSITION:  Drafter/CAD III/ITJob Description:·  Position includes ability to Draw/Design fire alarm, sound, security, and nurse call systems per our   customer specifications and code requirements. Coordination of technical submittals.· Check accuracy of submittal drawings for devices counts, addressing, wiring, & verify that submittal   books match submittal drawings.· Communication with field installers, salesmen, project engineers and customers.· Maintenance of records relating to design and installation of systems. · . Maintain all office IT network functions and support field on all IT issues.·  Prepare weekly reports on progress and attend meetings as necessary.· Maintenance of records relating to design and installation of systems. ·  Perform other duties as directed and deemed necessary.   Qualifications:·  High School/Trade School graduate or Associates Degree in Electronics, Drafting,   Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum Qualifications:·  Five years Auto Cad experience required in fire alarm and security industry.·  Excellent oral and written communication skills.·  Strong Computer and network  Skills.·  Ability to obtain NICET Level 2 within First Year.·  Computer fluency in Microsoft Office programs & spreadsheets.·  Computer fluency in AutoCAD 2006.·  Proficient in reading and understanding Architectural, Electrical layouts & diagrams.·  Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in office and meeting settings.·  Must be able to use computer keyboard and focus attention to PC monitor for prolonged periods.·  Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.· .
