For more information about MPS Group, please visit http://www.mpsgroup.com ***A major financial client of Modis’ is seeking a skilled EDI Integration Specialist for a contract position. EDI Integration Specialist - (contract)Pleasanton, CA  ***NO THIRD PARTY RESUMES*** Duties: You would be responsible for critical technical aspects of implementation projects, such as connecting the client’s web-hosted solution to the customer’s financial system, mapping interfaces to/from the customer’s systems, generating customer presentations/webforms, converting the customer’s business processes into a systematic workflow, and overall system testing. In this capacity, you will be part of our integration specialist team and work with senior Professional Services Project Managers and customers. The role would expand to include project management and design & delivery of important add-on projects.  Required Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience in similar work environment Experience mapping interfaces using Power. Enterprise or similar mapping tool. Understanding of basic file formats (CSV, XML, and Fixed Length) required. Familiarity with EDI, IDOC is a strong plus. Command of SQL script, Java Script, HTML. Desired: Experience with BEA Weblogic Studio Workflow, PeopleSoft SQR/SQC/Application Engine, Oracle integration (via Stored Procedures and XSL), SAP IDOC. Experience with a major ERP system, such as Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoft. Knowledge of Purchasing and Accounts Payable business processes (Purchase Order, PO Acknowledgement, Invoice, Payment, etc.).
