You will have the opportunity to shape the ERP strategy, ERP Project Management Office (PMO), architecture, sourcing, and risk strategies for the United States federal government. Client Delivery Responsibilityn Provide clients with strategic guidance with respect to the selection and integration of ERP software into the Enterprise Provide clients bestn practices and guidance on system operation, maintenance and securityn Support clients in the effective implementation of process, governance and portfolio management to create greater efficiencies in the use of technology Provide clients with guidance, advice and alternatives forn applying the appropriate level of technology with respect to the ERP to business process in the support of mission or enterprise objectives and goalsn Support the development of quality deliverables. Support clients in then establishment and management of complete lifecycle development ERP efforts including development of business case, acquisition of ERP software and associated technology components and implementation services, providing ongoing oversight, and providing periodic program assessments.Engagement Management Responsibilities Develop project plans for Gartner consultingn engagements accurately estimating level of effort and time required to complete deliverables and monitor the project using earn value. Successfully leadn teams in the completion of high quality deliverables. Effectively managen client issues and escalate project issues and risks as appropriate.In addition to the responsibilities described above, Gartner consulting associates are required to support business development activities through the identification of additional opportunities at existing clients, development of proposals, and presentation to clients in support of sales efforts.Qualifications:Products / Applications:Ideal candidates must identify experience in the following products and specific versions. SAP* mySAP ERP (any), SAP R/3 4.5 (or later)Oracle* Oracle eBusiness Suite, Fusion Line, PeopleSoft, or JD EdwardsImplementationIdeal candidates must have the following minimum qualifications related to implementations. Depending on a candidates level of specificity one, two or all must be fulfilled.* 3 to 5 years hands-on implementation experience in either Oracle or SAP* Demonstrated knowledge of a particular functional area. * Functional / Configuration / Team Lead experience in at least two (2) full implementationsFunctional:Candidates should identify experience in at least one of the following functional areas or modules while meeting minimum Implementation experience identified above. Candidates with applicable functional area experience in should receive higher priority. Candidates indicating only general experience within these areas must be questioned as to the exact sub-specialty. Candidates not exhibiting or representing a moderate to high proficiency level within a functional area, most likely have not worked in the systems and do not possess the minimum technical requirements.
