ESB Lead
Comsys, a leading IT consulting services organization, has an immediately available contract-to-permanent opening in Dunwoody, GA, for an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Lead.Position Title: ESB LeadPosition Rationale:The ESB Lead will be responsible for the documentation, design, development and management of the development efforts related to ESB design. This effort will involve some internal developers, but the bulk of the work will be performed by outsourced resources. This person will work closely with the System Architect for inputs regarding the overall system design.Success will be measured on the ability to deliver quality documentation and applications on time. The number of bugs fixed, enhancements made, and added value to the application will be key areas of evaluation.Major Responsibilities:1) Designs and Prototypes approaches for ESB configuration and ESB client adapters.2) Holds meetings with engineering staff to discuss and manage development activities.3) Creates appropriate documentation to represent the design, including configuration and development guidelines and templates to guide new developers when working with this portion of the System.4) Works with the System Architect and Director of Software Development to maintains and enhance standards for developers to abide by.5) Ensures unit test plans are created and maintained.6) Reviews code of other developers to ensure they are compliant with standards.7) Helps determine estimates.8) Develops code when necessary.9) Maintains a good relationship with peers in IT.Required Competencies: (Skills needed to be successful)To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies while consistently using an entrepreneurial approach:Strategic Thinking Creates and evaluates development strategies to achieve organizational goals; Understands organization's strengths and weaknesses;; Adapts strategy to changing conditions.Leadership Sustains pursuit of strategic vision, utilizes big-picture focus while inspiring peers and subordinates based on his/her prior start-up and success experiences. At least 7 years of total development experience. 5 years experience with the following required: Java J2SE, SQL, Object-oriented design, source control, HTML, XML, Ant, Unix, Windows Experience with the following preferred: Mule or other ESB solution, Java J2EE, Tomcat, WebLogic 8.1, Oracle 10g, JBoss, Axis Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently on multiple /projects tasks with stringent schedules.Education Requirement:Bachelor's degree (B.
