ETL Data Mart Applications Developer

Fortune 500 Company located in New Jersey is seeking to add onto staff an experienced Applications Developer who possesses strong design and development skills working specifically with SQL Server Data Marts. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of hands on development experience building data warehousing solutions and data marts with MS SQL Server 2005/2000 as well as building all related data tables, interfaces and OLAP reporting tools. Additionally, the position will be responsible for development and maintenance of diverse ETL processes and development and maintenance of Analysis Service Cubes as well as troubleshooting and recovering downed Data Mart systems and migrating all SQL Server upgrades for both Data Mart ETL and cubes. Prior experience with Data mapping and documentation of source and target data structures and ETL processes as well as designing and implementing data warehouse process improvements is considered extremely desirable. Strong experience with Data Marts and Star Schema design principles and practices including changing dimensions is expected. Strong demonstrated expertise with SQL Server skills including SSIS and TSQL as well as the full technical knowledge of SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, programming, unit testing, user acceptance testing, production migration and production support is required. VBA, VB.Net, Cognos reporting and Microsoft Access experience are all considered pluses. Degree is required.
