with our full range of award winning RAID and HBA products, Adaptec has the solutions and the brand power for success.

This very important senior sales professional will represent Adaptec throughout the Eastern Region by calling on established Systems Integrators, VARS, and Tier 2 OEM accounts for the Eastern United States. Responsibilities include calling on buyers, sales and marketing organizations, plus various individuals at distribution to maintain proper inventory levels, introduce new products, assist in selling Adaptec products to resellers, aide in developing marketing programs, and maintaining an excellent overall relationship with these accounts. Overnight travel on a regular basis is required. Position is located in the North England Area.
Requirements include: 7+ years demonstrated Experience of managing direct business with a partner, specifically SI/VAR/OEM – design win experience from inception of initial alignment through qualification and FCS. A good knowledge and experience with the storage industry and market and a thorough understanding of storage industry concepts (RAID, iSCSI, Storage Virtualization, SAS/SATA is requied. Strong IT awareness. Demonstrated relationships with key SI/VAR/OEM accounts in Eastern Region. A strong "hunter mentality" and a strong sales record of quota achievement. Good knowledge of the competitive landscape. Ability to work remote Start-up experience is desirable. Position will require about 50% travel. Relocation not provided.
