Electronic Medical Records Trainer and Implementation Specialist

The person will design, develop, deliver and maintain training materials and programs based on clinical workflow, staff needs and procedure/service changes.  Create templates and forms to be used within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.  Assist with conversion of offices from previous system to new EMR.  Provide EMR training for all designated HealthwoRx employees.  Work collaboratively with IT department to research, test and install new releases of EMR software. Provide on-going support and training as new features are added to the EMR.   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will ability to work independently to ensure optimal performance of EMR is required.  Demonstrated expertise training users in a healthcare environment preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) in a Windows environment a must.  Excellent organization skills and familiarity with relational databases and client-server technologies required.  Project management skills and multi-tasking abilities are required.  Must have reliable vehicle as travel between offices is required.  Minimum 1 year training experience.  Experience with medical information systems and previous history in a healthcare environment preferred.  Working knowledge of HIPAA guidelines a plus.   Associate degree or above in Business Administration, Computer Science, Project Management or related field.
