Engineer/Technician

We are a successful information technology consulting firm located on the east-side of Cleveland.  We are seeking a FULL-TIME engineer/technician to help us support our small business client base. We provide technology support in all areas, including desktop troubleshooting and repair, server maintenance, proactive network monitoring, network design, troubleshooting and analysis, printer repair, VOIP and PBX phone systems, and support of 3rd party software that our clients use.

Candidates must have hands on experience with Windows Server 2003 and/or Windows Small Business Server 2003.

At least 50% of your time will be spent travelling to client locations (metro Cleveland only - within 30 miles of our office). Must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working on your own. Must have reliable transportation and a cell phone.

Requirements:
*Strong customer service orientation.
*Degree in Information Systems or commensurate work experience.
*Microsoft Certification a plus.
*Minimum 3 years experience.
*Must be a strong team player, including ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, as well as to identify and clearly communicate problems or support requests in order to influence the prioritization of projects
*Knowledge of PC hardware and repair.
*Working knowledge of LAN (Ethernet) protocols and networking
*Cabling experience a plus
*Experience with Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista, MS Office/Outlook, MS Exchange, Windows 2000 server, Windows 2003 Server. TCP/IP, Print Servers, and software update deployment required.
