Enterprise Architect to join our team in Clarksburg, West Virginia.



Provide expert consulting services in the area of services-oriented architecture (SOA) as it relates to the CJIS SoS Technical and Enterprise Architectures (TA and EA). The CJIS Division's Information Technology Management Section is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the CJIS Division System of Services. 10+ years experience in a large IT environmentBA/BS degreeSecret Clearance requiredAnalyze existing architecture structures and reference models, study strategic technical plans and strategies, and develop an SOA framework for CJIS systems and services. Assist in development of strategic and tactical plans to evolve to the SOA architecture and assist in developing the focused technical strategies, procedures, processes, and methods needed to execute those plans.Provide expert consulting services in the area of services-oriented architecture as it relates to the CJIS SoS technical and enterprise architectures. Analyze existing structures and reference models, study strategic technical plans and strategies, and develop an SOA evolutionary framework for CJIS systems and services. Provide studies and analyses in support of the CJIS SoS as required by the COTR and document the results in the form of a technical report. Advise CJIS executive management on technical architecture and requirements issues. Support government configuration management and quality assurance activities as applied to technical architecture implementation issues Advise CJIS on the technical aspects of the SoS technical architecture to ensure interoperability among the CJIS networks, databases and systems.Advise management on the technical architecture of new CJIS systems, to include state of the art hardware and software technologies. Advise CJIS management on broad issues of information system infrastructure and high level system design as applied to CJIS missions and services. Apply systems engineering principles and techniques to develop complex specifications and procedures. Analyze and comment on contractor / FBI developed designs and technical reports.
