Enterprise Storage AdministratorTracking Code1008 Job DescriptionMaintain and troubleshoot IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (ITSM) servers and clients Implement and manage system monitoring tools including Tivoli Productivity Center for Storage, and IBM Director Manage and maintain storage hardware Manage and Maintain appropriate SAN VSAN and zones Carve out and assign disk storage to servers Perform problem solving and troubleshooting techniques to fix storage problems Monitor performance of SAN hardware/software  Provide Monthly reports on system performance and resource load Support and troubleshoot Windows 2000 and 20003 servers and/ or AIX 4.X/5.X servers Required SkillsExcellent communication skills a must Project management skills a plus Ability to analyze technical documents on new products and implement solutions Candidate will be highly motivated having a strong sense of urgency, high detail orientation and adept at multitasking. Candidate will also be a team player with strong organizational skills, have a professional appearance and positive attitude. Candidate must possess demonstrated customer relation skills and technical abilities.Required ExperienceAt least 18 months experience in maintaining and managing Tivoli Storage Manager Experience with TSM's TDP and DRM strongly preferred Knowledge of storage area networks, fibre channel and their functions Experience with IBM Total Storage product line Experience with SAN switch hardware, preferably Cisco SAN products Knowledge of system monitoring tools and MIBS, SNMP Traps At least 3 years of UNIX experience (IBM AIX preferred) At least 3 years of Microsoft Server OS experience

Credentials desired: 4 year college degree Experience with Oracle and MS SQL server a plus Experience using IBM director and RDM a plus Experience with IBM Tivoli Productivity Center a plus
