Enterprise Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and certified Enterprise Network Engineer for our client in Chicago, IL.

 

Description:

* Provide Enterprise-wide Network & Security Infrastructure Services.

 

Job Function:

* Monitor, administer and optimize Enterprise Network devices consisting of mainly Windows 2003 servers, Cisco Switches, Networked Printers, Cisco Access Points.

* Monitor, administer and optimize Enterprise Network services for (Microsoft) Active Directory, Proxy, WSUS, (Symantec) Antivirus, (Cisco) Security and VPN, (IBM) Tivoli Access Manager, Director.

* Provide Network Level 3 Helpdesk Support, including general technical assistance to the other Infrastructure sub-teams (Email, HelpDesk & AS/400).

* Manage accounts, policies, security, access and optimization of Windows Active Directory based on Windows 2003 servers. Contribute to projects involving integration with other LDAP directories.

* Participate as Project Manager and as Staff in various projects related to Network, Security, System Integration/Optimization and Disaster Recovery. Create and maintain documentation related to development, configuration, testing, support and training.

* Coordinate WAN management activities with carriers and 3rd-party service vendors, including Service Availability and Escalation Management.

* Perform research & development for new technology initiatives and solutions to

related areas.

 

Core Qualification/Skills Summary:

* Microsoft MCSE Certified (2000 or higher) with 3 or more years of experience in enterprise level network management with excellent Active Directory management skills.

* Cisco CCNA or equivalent network certification or training.

* Excellent verbal, written and documentation skills.

* Experienced and proficient in Project Management methodologies.

* Japanese / English speaking a PLUS!!
