The qualified candidate will work with a team that delivers information management solutions for over twenty years. As an Associate within Baker Robbins & Company (BRCo) a successful candidate must have demonstrated adaptability, creativity, and the ability to learn new skills and apply newly acquired knowledge rapidly. ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will: Participate in enterprise search design and deployment projects. Install, configure, and optimize enterprise search products from Recommind, Interwoven, and Google. Establish data collection processes to augment document search indexing and perform data transformations to match the business needs of the project. Maintain technical expertise in core Microsoft database technologies, ANSI-compliant TSQL scripting, CSS, XSL, and enterprise search architectures.Project TasksTypical projects will include some combination of the following tasks and requisite skills. User experience. Knowledge of web presentation, user search experience, and data presentation. Candidates should have experience with web presentation technology including CSS and XSL. Data collection and manipulation. Experience in mapping data from different data sources using data warehouse techniques, ETL and Microsoft SQL Server scripting. Candidates would be capable of conducting user - stakeholder interviews to determine how appropriate data sources will be accessed, how will data be transformed, or how new data will be added to existing data (enhanced matter data for example); SQL scripting skills are critical; Web page styling or manipulation via JavaScript, CSS, and XSL. Candidate should have experience with XML schemas and data transformation via XSL. Enterprise Search configuration. Experience with Recommind MindServer, Google Enterprise, or Interwoven Universal Search (IUS) server infrastructure is critical Team work and customer communication. Candidate would work with business unit leaders and web designers to deliver enterprise search experience.RequirementsRequirements for this candidate should include, but are not limited to: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the implementation, administration, or tuning of Recommind MindServer, Interwoven Universal Search (Vivisimo’s Velocity), Microsoft SQL Server, or other relational databases. 1-2 years hands-on experience in configuration of Java servers on Microsoft Server technologies, CSS, and XSL.
