Technical Sales – Data Networks, San Antonio/Houston TX

 

Responsible for the sales and business development for a turnkey provider of IT Hardware and Professional Services company with solutions including Cisco Equipment & Installation, IP Telephony, Cabling Infrastructure, Access Control, Security and Critical Power Distribution, UPS systems and generators. .

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, is confident interacting with customers, and has a successful track record of establishing and developing a customer base, including attending trade shows and cold calling. A strong understanding of Data Networks and experience in selling total Network solutions (product and services) is essential.

 

Prerequisites include:

 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical College or equivalent

CSE preferred

5+ years experience in technical sales, specifically in the San Antonio/Austin/Houston markets

Proven ability to convert technical capabilities into business value propositions

A successful track record of establishing, developing and nurturing a strong customer base

Excels in environment of complex, multi-level technical sales

Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills

Experience in selling to decision makers in vertical markets such as healthcare, enterprise computing, and data center markets preferred

Non-Texas residents will not be considered.  We will not entertain relocation expenses. 

We are a start-up company with locations in Houston, San Antonio, Las Vegas and Tampa.

Compensation commensurate to experience

Home based office preferred; flexible hours, all travel expenses paid
