Executive Director of information Technology

The Bishop's School, an independent college preparatory coeducational day school currently with 725 students in grades 7-12 is seeking an Executive Director of Information Technology. 

 

The Executive Director of IT will be responsible for all aspects of executive level leadership and possess technical proficiencies to oversee the overall technology initiatives of the school.  The candidate will be an experienced hands-on leader who can manage a team of three, provide strategic direction, technical leadership and expertise, manage complex vendor engagements, budgets, and service level objectives. The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of emerging technology industry trends and demonstrated success in large-scale project implementation, preferably in a non-profit or school environment.

 

Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Engineering or related area.  Master’s Degree preferred.  Demonstrated experience with IT systems and IS management at a senior level with progressively increased responsibility.  In addition, a minimum of five years of successful supervisory experience in an IT/IS department required.
