See for yourself.We are seeking a positive, energetic, team player to work as a Records Associate Lead at a top law firm. The chosen applicant will be responsible for leading a team of associates in the preparation, tracking, general filing and maintenance of the firm’s files. The Records Lead will ensure all aspects of record keeping comply with relevant legislation and client guidelines.Job Responsibilities: Lead and develop a team of Records Associates. Provide records management services to the firm, including creating and organizing folders, general filing and court document indexing. Maintain the inventory stored within the records department, including file purges and transfers of files to an offsite storage facility. Maintain the firm’s inventory of boxes in an offsite storage facility, including the retrieval and destruction of files within the inventory. Prepare files to be shipped to offsite warehouse. Includes computer input of boxes and content of each box. Manage the supply of inventory within the records department. Maintain all hard copy files and documents. Create and upkeep of files in LegalKey Records Management database. Report generation for records. Manage the return of retrieved items to records department and/or storage. Ensure quality assurance initiatives are being observed at all times. Ensure all logs and tracking tools are used at all times. Communicate with client on job or deadline issues. Prioritize and monitor own work flow. All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Minimum of 2 years Records experience in a law firm required. Previous litigation experience preferred. Knowledge of offsite storage procedures. Proficiency in Legalkey Records Application. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate computer knowledge preferred. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to make independent decisions. Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential materials a must. Professional attire required. Good problem solving skills. Ability to work overtime as needed.
