Alternative Channels (www.altchan.com) is seeking an industrious, self motivated person to fill the position of Online Sales Expert.

The Online Sales Expert will play a vital role in growing a high-volume business.  This will involve the overall responsibilities and of maintaining and growing the company's online and off-line accounts.

Requirements:
Experience as an online seller in marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Craig's List, FreeCycle, etc.Broad product knowledge and general interest in collectibles and other re-sellable itemsAbility to work with local off-line sales channels through secondhand dealers and product experts
Extroverted and quick thinking personalityConsistent ability to understand market trends and how to maximize product potentialDemonstrated ability to gain customer trust and provide exceptional follow-up, leading to increased repeat and referral businessHighly organized with an exceptional ability to multi-task

Tasks:
Enter items into the inventory systemTake photos of all incoming items and write descriptions, if necessaryResearch the best selling channels to get the highest value and shortest sale for an item, using our internal and external toolsMake recommendations as to what items would be donated or disposed ofExecute and finalize all sales listingsCustomer service to buyers and potential buyersProvide on-going reporting and feedbackConstantly research online and off-line marketplaces and market trends to develop new sales channels
