Candidate will review current, on hand product solutions for effectiveness and, where determined not to be in use, or incorrectly implemented, will evaluate for continued/discontinued use. Candidate will conduct unbiased, open market research for product solutions to facilitate a more resilient and redundant infrastructure and will bring recommendations for the implementation of such products, along with an implementation plan, cost and timeline, to DOIM leadership for a decision. Candidate will then drive the implementation of product solutions procured by the DOIM. Long-term duties include providing expert technical advice in support of Single DOIM migration, guidance on SharePoint portal initiatives and technical expertise to all network upgrades and modernization efforts.Required: • Master’s degree in IT and 10 years relevant experience (or 5 additional years experience and a Bachelor's Degree in IT is equivalent to Master’s) • Expert failover/backup architecture (IT/DR) planning experience • Continuity of Operations (COOP) Planning experience a plus • Expert knowledge of NIST Publication 800-34 • Current MCSE 2003 Certification • Secret Clearance • Exceptional troubleshooting skills • Experience with Army networks a plusDesired: • A+ Certification. • Microsoft Exchange 2003 experience. • Experience with Norton Antivirus Server and Client. • Experience using Symantec Ghost. • Experience with SMS and group policy management. • Experience with Citrix a plus. • Experience supporting Blackberries a plus. To apply, please submit your resume through the CAREERS page of the TCS website at www.telecomsys.com/careers (Job 1738)
