FUN TIONAL TESTER

The MIL Corporation, a thriving government contractor, seeks a Functional Tester for a project with a Federal Government Client in Gaithersburg, MD.

FUNCTIONAL TESTER (Multiple positions available): 
 
Basic Requirements - The following requirements must be met to be a candidate for this project:
 
Experience using Oracle Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and associated Oracle development & query tools; and other software support products such as performance testing software and CM software.
 
Experience in all aspects of Oracle technologies supporting NIST implementation of Commerce Business System (CBS) and Portal.
 
Certification in Oracle 10g AS administration
 
Competency in the administration of Oracle Assets
 
Competency in current web technologies
 
Competency in Business Objects
 
Experience in testing large systems and testing methodologies
 
Experience in SW maintenance, change control and tools like Polytron Version Control System (PVCS)
 
Specific requirements:
 
1 year testing experience

· Develop high level testing designs based on documented user requirements.

· Develop detail level testing designs based on documented user requirements.

· Develop test scripts and scenarios for all software enhancements

· Have the ability to work with Business Analysts to ensure test results meet user requirements.
