Factory Management Systems Engineer

We are an executive search firm, presently conducting a search for a large, global client based in the Orlando, FL area.

This is a Senior level BSEE or Computer Engineering position, which will be based at our client's headquarters in Orlando. The focus of this position is to design and support new management systems which integrate with the client's process automation control systems, enabling the factory management systems to effectively communicate all process and control data, performance metrics and product evaluation data. There are over 600 plant processing facilities throughout the world which will be connected to this system.

This senior level engineer must have familiarity with Industrial Automation using or testing MMI (man machine interface) and / or HMI (human machine interface) products. Strong experience with SQL server is desired as well 2000/2005 stored procedures, SQL reporting services, .NET and / or Wonderware InTouch and IAS. A background in ArchestraA Tech is also highly desirable.

Experience in the of PLC's in a manufacturing environment is a plus, although this is a systems development and integration function. It is important that you be comfortable working closely with the Process Technology team and Operations Engineering, in manufacturing environments. Knowledge and operation of server and PC hardware and system software, specifically Windows 2003 will be helpful. Knowledge and experience with LEAN and Six Sigma also helpful.

This Senior Engineer will work very closely with the Process Technology Team and operations Engineering on mechanical, electrical and controls integration with FMS (factory management systems) and supports FMS at the plants.

This position offers a base in $90-100K range, plus a bonus that can range from 10 - 20%. This position has an approximate travel of 35%, including some occasional international travel.
