Field Service Technician – Computers and Networks

 

Geeks on Call (1800905Geek) is looking for Field Service Technicians and Network Engineers to deliver services to the small office home office and small and medium business markets.  If you are a qualified Technician with a CompTIA A+ certification or a Network Engineer with either CompTIA Server + or Microsoft Network certifications and take a consultative approach to delivering service, Geeks on Call may be just the place for you!

Your responsibilities will include working with an installed base of existing customers as well as introducing our company to new customers.  Much of our business is referral based so it is important that you be willing to seek out new opportunities and manage referrals to gain new clients. 

 

We are looking for candidates who possess:

 Strong communications skillsA minimum of A+ certification; MCSE preferredExperience with PC hardware, software and operating systemsDiagnostic skillsWireless network installation, security and maintenance experience

 

You will be required to have:

 

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Pass a background check and drug test

 

Helpful skills:

 

Security + or Microsoft networking certifications

Formal IT education

Sales and or project management experience
