Field Support Technician

GENERAL FUNCTION: Provide warranty and break fix services on Hewlett Packard (and other popular OEM;s), Desktops, Laptops, Printers and Plotters at customer locations. Primarily Printer services


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be able to work under time constraints and have the ability to manage a diverse and sometimes heavy workload. Travel to customer locations may include extended (150 miles+) driving times. Must be able to take direction. Must have very good customer service skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

A+ Certified, Hewlett Packard SPN Certifications, Hardware break-fix experience on Hewlett Packard Servers, Desktops/Workstations, Laptops, Printers and Plotters (DesignJet). Tech must submit list of HP SPN's (printout from HP website) and HP ID and Resume.

Must have HP SPN Certifications (either active or not)

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

HP Certifications A+ Certification, HP Printers and Plotters

EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years of experience providing onsite repairs to Printers and plotters.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO:

Must have a valid driver’s license,  Service vehicle will be provided for daily use

Must be able to lift Laser Printers or similar items as required or utilize multiple people based upon lift load.
