Makes appropriate recommendations to management in order to strengthen business controls, improve operations, and/or reduce costs. Performs in-depth studies to determine optimum financial performance plans. Reviews, advises, and/or conducts cost performance, variance analysis, and risk analysis. Supervises the development of cost controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status. Makes recommendations for cost performance improvements, risk mitigations, etc. Oversees preparation of change order/task order proposals. Keeps operations and finance informed of potential financial issues/risks and proactively works on resolving potential problems before they become a significant issue/risk. Performs highly complex financial/administrative reporting for major contracts and/or programs. Reviews, advises, and/or conducts cost performance, variance analysis, and risk analysis. Assists in supervising the activities of program and project control analyses staff to ensure that work is completed on a timely basis and that company policies and procedures are followed. Recommends and/or initiates the selection and hiring of employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Makes recommendations for salary increases, transfers and terminations to manager. Assists in organizing project and task work loads and selects individuals most qualified for assignments. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field preferred Six or more years of finance or accounting experience Experience working with accounting principles and accounting software and databases Experience working with financial analysis Experience working with program control techniques in the Federal Contracting environment Experience working with Federal Contract pricing Other Qualifications Presentation skills Organization skills to balance and prioritize work Good analytical and problem solving skills Leadership skills Personal computer and business solutions software skills Good interpersonal and interviewing skills to gather information from personnel Good communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
