Financial System Analyst

Job Summary Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC is searching for a Financial Systems Analyst to join our Financial Systems department based in Parsippany, NJ.  This position contributes to the company's success by providing technical and business support to Budget Truck operation involving specific databases.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities - See disclaimer below for further information. The essential duties and responsibilities as well as knowledge, skills and abilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide technical and business support to Budget Truck operations involving specific databases Respond to user reported issues to identify the problem, and define a solution to be tested and implemented Accurately report financial data for Budget Truck locations as to provide precise data for M&A’s and other financial analysis Audit accounting database transactions to determine which transactions need to be re-classed to a specific cost center Maintain business process documentation containing processes and flow-charts with the latest enhancements Review business process to identify short-falls, enhancements and efficiencies to the current process Respond to requests for system access and resolves user encountered system issues Create new chart of account values to be used by the Budget Truck Accounting Department Prepare standard reportsSuccessful candidate will possess the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.  Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency. Contribute individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Superior problem solving skills - must be resourceful and creative with solutions.
