Apex Systems, Inc. is currently seeking a Fortran Developer.
Required Skills and Experience:Fortran OpenVMS DCL Experienced using VMS development tools to design, develop and test Fortran applications and COM files Solid technical documentation skills (e.g. functional and technical specifications) Minimum 6 years experience in IT Minimum 36 months experience on small (3 months), medium (6 months) and/or large projects (12 months) utilizing VMS, Fortran and COM files. Experience includes use of UML and/or Rational MethodologyParticipated in at least 2 complete project life cycles (analysis/design/construction/QA/implementation)Excellent written and oral communication skillsAble to communicate effectively with non-technical people Able to collaborate effectively with no assistance Able to present concepts and designs in a group setting

The candidate will be working on a client-specific team that makes modifications and enhancements to existing applications, follows up with testing the applications, documenting changes, and working through to installation. Focus is on rapid response for ongoing request tickets.
