Functional Tester  Job Code: GCSD02081131  Harris Corporation is serving as the systems integrator and provides overall program management for the U.S. Census Bureau's 5-year $600 million dollar Field Data Collection Automation (FDCA) program. This critical program for the 2010 Census includes the design, development, testing and deployment of advanced, automated systems that will deliver near real-time data using an architecture with multiple and overlapping security features, including fingerprint authentication, password authentication, role-based access, automatic data encryption, firewalls, and virus protection.  Job Description: This candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining test procedures that verify the software and system level requirements. They should have prior experience with requirements traceability. This position will also be responsible for executing test scripts, working with developers to debug issues, and attending requirements, design, and code reviews.   Qualifications: BS Degree or equivalent experience with 5 or more years experience required. The ideal candidate would have at least one year SQL experience, as well as experience with writing and executing test scripts. Experience with Mercury Test Director and/or Rational ClearQuest is a plus.  Experience: Strong analytical skills are necessary, as are good written communication skills.
