GREAT Documentum Software Engineer Opportunity
Great Opportunity with a Fortune 500 company! Excellent opportunity to further your skillset as well as contribute to a growing company. BASIC FUNCTION AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design, code, and deploy Documentum solutions using Java and Documentum Developer’s suite of products, including DQL, WDK 5.3, Webtop 5.3 Customizations, Content Server, etc.
2. Participate and/or lead software design meetings and conduct code reviews.
3. Provide support to other programmers as needed in regards to Documentum programming. Augment the technical knowledge of other members of the development team to allow them to increase their knowledge of Documentum components.
4. Troubleshoot any Documentum-related issues.
5. Perform other related duties, as assigned. This includes tasks such as research, testing and training technical resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education and Experience:
A) At least two years of experience with Documentum Developer’s suite of products, including Webtop 5.3 Customizations, Cabinet definition, Content Server, TBOs, and the Documentum architecture.
B) Experienced Java programmer.
2. Basic Skills:
A) Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Able to identify and correct causes of problems based on results of tests and symptoms.
B) Familiarity with the Documentum development suite.
C) Ability to work on multiple tasks in a team environment. Able to perform well in a structured, task-driven environment. Ability to provide technical and project leadership in a team environment.
D) Excellent oral and written communication skills.
E) Ability to put forth additional work time in order to meet project deadlines when required.
F) Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio.
G) Ability to work independently with minimal technical assistance from others.
3. Additional Skills (that would be nice to have):
A) Experience with Documentum using Oracle 8i+ as the database.
B) Experience with SQL Server.
C) Proficient with Content server 5.3, Developer Studio, DQL, WDK 5.3, Documentum reporting.
D) Any experience with migrations from DocuTREEV to Documentum.
E) Any experience with Kofax.
